Ingredients
  • 240 g Chickpeas
  • 1 tsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Sriracha
  • 1 tsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 pinches Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
Instructions
  1. Drain the chickpeas, reserving the aquafaba for another recipe if you like. Pat the chickpeas completely dry with a clean kitchen towel. For extra crispiness, gently rub them to remove the loose skins.
  2. Transfer the dried chickpeas to a bowl. Add oil, salt, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Toss until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer in your air fryer basket and cook at 200°C (400°F) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through so they crisp up evenly.
  4. Once they’re golden and crunchy, take them out and drizzle over the honey, sriracha, and lemon juice. Toss well so every chickpea gets coated in that sweet-spicy glaze.
  5. Return the chickpeas to the air fryer and cook for an additional 2 minutes, until sticky and lightly caramelized.
  6. Serve warm or cold, as a snack on its own or as a crunchy topping for salads.
